EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Each year the Stokes Soil & Water Conservation District sponsors educational programs for Stokes County students in grades K-12 in an effort to inform students of the value of our natural resources. All educational programs follow objectives outlined in the NC Curriculum of Study. Packets of information are sent to each school prior to the contests or programs being offered by the soil & water district. Click on any of the program PDFs below for more information.
The Stokes Soil & Water Conservation District also offers numerous resources for educators such as posters, booklets, videos, slide presentations and lesson plans. Contact us for more information on teacher resources or to schedule a classroom presentation.
